- EARTH HOUR EVENTS Organized by Faith Communities and Community Partners - Saturday, March 26, 2011At 8.30 PM on Saturday 26 March 2011, lights will switch off around the globe for Earth Hour. This year's theme for Earth Hour is 'Go Beyond the Hour'. We hope you will join in the following events and consider how you can go beyond the hour!EARTH HOUR: OUR EARTH - EASTMINISTER UNPLUGGED at Eastminster United Church, 310 Danforth Avenue (at Chester Station) from 8-9 pm. A special evening of reflection, readings and music. More information: www.eastminsteruc.orgANNUAL CANDLELIGHT WALK: EARTH HOUR 2011. Earth Hour Walks start at 8:30 pm in various locations across Ward 13. Lantern making earlier in the day. Three of the Earth Hours walks will converge at Runnymede United Church at 9:30 pm for a musical celebration.
